How 360 degree feedback works

Appraisal360 - the 360 degree feedback system from Third Eye - has been designed to make getting high quality feedback from the people you work with a simple and hassle free experience.

Step 1

Once you have registered and chosen the workset you want to use, the system will build you a personalised feedback questionnaire using one of our behavioural competency frameworks. Within each framework some competencies are mandatory and you may have the option to choose from a number of additional competencies.

Step 2

Now you fill in the questionnaire about yourself - your self perception - and give the email addresses of six people who you want to ask for feedback.

Each of these people will receive a link via email inviting them to fill in an identical questionnaire about their perception of you. You can see on the control panel who has filled in their questionnaire and who you're still waiting for - but you can't see who said what.

Step 3

Once everyone has filled out their feedback form your report will appear on the control panel for you to view online or download and print. It's been carefully designed to make it easy to interprete and you also get a workbook to download to help you interpret your feedback and build your action plan.

And finally...

All the Appraisal360 worksets are based on a behavioural competency framework. Over many years psychologists have studied outstanding individuals and identified the behaviours that make them so successful. These dictionaries of competencies have been refined by use in blue chip companies, by top class HR professionals and psychologists, and trainers then used to help develop some of the best performers in their class.

Third Eye's experience designing, developing and using competency frameworks with some of the most forward thinking players in the industry started back in 1993.
